We’ve got something for the acronym geek in you… you could be our new Marketing BDA! What’s a BDA, you ask? It’s not the Broadcast Designers Association. Or the Bulgarian Drug Agency. Come on, try harder!

Let’s simply explaining the role of Marketing Business Development Analyst: you will create financial models, communicate with current or prospective clients, and identify new business opportunities and industry trends. You will collaborate daily with a team of colleagues (obviously), while simultaneously reporting to Executive Management teams. Maybe you’re bad at guessing games, that’s okay. But we do need you, badly, and at the top of your game.

The fundamentals for the job…

  • You’ll be responsible for preparing financial and data analysis that includes collaboration with critical decision makers.
  • You are great a working independently and, independently, you will develop and maintain a series of relationships in various phases of the sales pipeline.
  • You will prepare analysis, proposals, and other project documents. You like creating infographs, right?
  • You’ll also review and analyze financial data received from prospects and propose awesome recommendations.
  • You will develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • We’ll rely on you to coordinate with various departments to help facilitate the work required to present to prospects and close deals. Closing great deals is one of our favorite things, you might as well know. You will be instrumental in making these happen.
  • You are skilled at identifying new growth opportunities and driving sales strategies.
  • You can’t wait to start!


What you’re made of

The bold requirements…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.)
  • You bring 2+ years of business development experience, preferably within the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) industry.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Your fluency with Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio makes us biased towards you, in a good way.
  • You boast excellent presentations skills and a natural ability to promote a vision.
  • You thrive like a weed in a fast-paced environment. And you bring a fierce desire to learn and grow.
  • You have a proven track record of synthesizing complex data and communicating the results to senior leadership.
  • You are keenly able to identify business opportunities.
  • The force is strong in your project management skills.
  • You stand above the rest in negotiation and collaboration skills. You understand the glass is never half-full or half-empty and can easily explain the glass is just twice as large as it needs to be.
  • You are very attentive to detail, to the point of annoyance.
  • You have beyond excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • You know how to use Microsoft Office products and have tons of Internet experience (basic digital skills you’ll use on a daily basis).
  • You can communicate effectively (read, write, speak, count, argue, counter argue, add, subtract, etc.) in English and Spanish.

  1. Adapter: A responsive climate-switcher who is highly productive in a fast-paced environment. A practical shape-shifter.
  2. Analytical: Values the power of context & enjoys examining the past. They get the present by over-analyzing events leading up to it. This methodology is super helpful for certain jobs and circumstances, but can provoke analysis-fatigue in those within earshot who must listen as it is applied to everything and everyone.
  3. Communicator: You find it easy to put your thoughts into words. You are a good conversationalists and presenter.
  4. Negotiator: Navigates difficult conversations towards productive outcomes. Driven to achieve the elusive win-win situation (or else, lose-lose). They are imbued with a certain aplomb that can take control of a situation and make decisions.
  5. Strategic: Sets a vision and devises alternative ways to proceed. In any given scenario, they quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues. Will always win at Pairs.
